Nº57 Janus Rasmussen

Janus Rasmussen is a Faroese musician, producer and songwriter. His music can be described as rich, melodic and experimental electronic music. His long and vast musical experience in many different genres plays a big part in creating his sound, furthermore his dedication to creating, performing and collaborating with others throughout the years has enriched his craft.

Rasmussen started making music at the age of twelve, just playing around with his friends in the Faroe Islands. That grew to become more serious, and he moved to Reykjavík, Iceland, because of its music scene. There he quickly found like-minded people to collaborate with and felt at home. He has later said that the Reykjavík music scene is an incredibly special place and that he credits his success and musical evolution to that community.
