The collaboration highlights Björk’s longstanding relationship with The Hamrahlíð Choir, which she was a member of during her teenage years. The choir has also contributed to her live performances, notably during the Cornucopia tour in 2019.
Björk x The Hamrahlíð Choir – Cosmogony is a special collaborative release that reimagines the song “Cosmogony” from Björk’s 2011 album Biophilia. Included is a limited-edition 12" picture disc was released on July 17, 2021, as part of Record Store Day.
